Jacob is getting a pump!

Well, our little boy is growing up. We have passed our Diabetes year mark with no complications and are now eligible to get Jacob a pump. The paperwork is pretty intense, so we won't be getting it for a few months, but Jacob is really excited! His endo nurse fitted him up today with the tubing that he would wear every day with the pump. He is supposed to wear it for two days to make sure there is no problems with the site where it is injected. so, if all goes well he will be starting out the next school year with a new device to wow the school nurses with. The one we decided on was the Animas Ping shown above. Of course he will be getting a blue one, not a pink, ha!
